Community Good Giving Day
Community involvement is a wonderful way to bring people together to inspire hope and lifelong learning and that is exactly what the first ever "Community Good Giving Day" achieved on Saturday, August 9, 2014. Graniterock successfully partnered with United Way of Monterey County and hosted 24 non-profit agencies at the Seaside Design Village. Graniterock customers and guests enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs, oven fired pizza and live music while organizations from around the Monterey Peninsula, including The Boys & Girls Club, Together In Pajaro, and the YMCA, shared their message of good giving. Robin Steudler, coordinator of the event, said the agencies were well received and attendees appreciated Graniterock’s commitment to inspiring positive change within the Community.
