Graniterock lends more than a hand for Pajaro community garden
A small plot of land in Pajaro, previously covered with weeds and used as a place to dump shopping carts and other trash, will be turned into a community garden thanks to some help from Graniterock.
Graniterock donated the equipment and manpower to scrape sand from the site, located behind Pajaro Middle School, so the nonprofit Mesa Verde Gardens can make the land useable as a garden and offer the space to families to grow their own fruits and vegetables.
