Science Day at Cerra Vista School
Graniterock again set up a booth at Cerra Vista's Science Day providing students with information on geology, rock types and how they are formed, and minerals they see in their everyday lives. The students were also shown the geodes they could select and then safely cracked the rocks and were allowed to take the rocks home as a keepsake. The kids left with Graniterock pencils and an increased knowledge of geology because of the information they learned from Graniterock.
