Graniterock Team Member Earns Interlocking Paver Certification
Neil Kunkel of Graniterock, Cupertino, California, has completed the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) Level I Graduate Program. Neil attended a two-day educational course and passed the subsequent exam to receive his ICPI Level IConcrete Paver Installer Certification.
An interlocking concrete paver is pre-cast concrete or brick commonly used in exterior hardscaping applications. ICPI education provides graduates with knowledge of industryguidelines, practices, and advances applicable to theconstruction and installationof interlocking concrete pavers. ICPI supports members in assuring segmental pavement systems are the preferred choice for sustainable and environmentally friendly pavements in North America.
Neil is a graduate of Cabrillo College and has been with Graniterock since 2005. He currently works as a Project Engineer/Manager for Graniterock Builders out of the Cupertino Design Center. Neil is a Santa Cruz native, and enjoys surfing and playing softball.
