Local Company Hosts Barbecue To Benefit The Quail Hollow Ranch County Park
Conservation and Reclamation Efforts at Quail Hollow
Graniterock's Quail Hollow Quarry Hosts Fundraising Event and Open House
Graniterock is hosting an open house and barbecue on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at its Quail Hollow Quarry in Felton.
The day will begin promptly at 10:00am with an open house at the Quail Hollow Quarry and the event will come to a close at approximately 2:00pm. The barbecue will benefit the Quail Hollow Ranch County Park. The cost for a full tri tip plate is just $10 with all proceeds going to the Park.
Representatives of Graniterock and the Santa Cruz County Planning department will be in attendance to answer questions about mining operations, conservation, and reclamation efforts in this unique quarry. Walking tours will be available. The press is welcome.

Graniterock was founded on Valentine’s Day, 1900, when its first operation, the A.R. Wilson Quarry, was opened in Aromas, and soon became a heavy engineering contractor.
