Mike Leuck Designated Certified Utility Safety Administrator
National Safety Council Certifies Local Safety Professional
The National Safety Council has designated Mike Leuck, Construction Safety Manager for Graniterock’s Pavex Construction Division, as a Certified Utilisty Safety Administrator (CUSA). The Utilities Division of the National Safety Council administers the Certified Utility Safety Administrator program. CUSA provides construction safety administrators with formal recognition of their knowledge, training and experience of safety practices in the utility construction industry. CUSA certification is an internationally recognized credential. Mike is primarily responsible for job site safety on heavy engineering and construction projects throughout the San Francisco Bay and Central California Coast areas. He has been with Graniterock for 13 years.
Mike Leuck has lived in Santa Cruz County since 1960. He is an Environmental, Safety and Health (E, H&S) professional. Mike received training in the E, H&S profession while serving in the U.S. Coast Guard and attending San Diego State University OSHA Institute. He is married and has 3 children. He enjoys gardening with his wife and outdoor activities with his children. Mike and family live north of Boulder Creek where they are remodeling a local landmark, the Riverside Grove Resort and Pool.
