Press Conference: Pajaro River Bench Excavation Phase I Completion Celebration and Phase 2 Plans
Press Conference: Wednesday, September 19, 2012, 10am
Union Street and East Front Street (see attached map)
Limited parking is available, carpooling is recommended.
The purpose of the press conference is to inform the public and celebrate the work completed in Phase 1 on the Pajaro River Bench Excavation Project and provide updated plans for the second phase scheduled to begin in June 2013.
The press conference will include the following (subject to change):
BENCH EXCAVATION PROJECT: DIRECTIONS TO PRESS CONFERENCE
From Pajaro: Cross the Main Street bridge and proceed to East Front Street. Turn RIGHT onto East Front Street and proceed to the parking area.
From Downtown Watsonville: Take Main Street to Riverside Drive (Hwy 129). Turn LEFT on Riverside Drive (Hwy 129) and go one block to Union Street. Turn RIGHT on Union Street and proceed until it ends at East Front Street. Turn LEFT to access the parking area. NOTE: You cannot turn left onto East Front Street from Main Street.
Additional parking is available on the streets in the surrounding neighborhood. Carpooling is highly recommended.
