Quail Hollow Glass Sand
Quail Hollow Glass Sand is a very fine, kiln dried sand used by high volume glass manufacturers to produce glass containers and glass fiber products. Glass Sand has also been successfully used in high quality equestrian footing applications including the Golden Gate Fields Racetrack in Berkeley, CA. This sand can also be used in specialty applications where a fine grained sand is required. Glass sand is typically 300 degrees Fahrenheit when loaded into trucks so care must be taken to avoid burning. Glass Sand is light beige in color and flows easily into narrow spaces. Gradation data is presented in percent passing. For percent retained gradation data and chemical composition information, please contact Mike Munn at 408-671-1484.
