Wilson 1 1/2" Class IV Baserock
Similar to 1 1/2" Class II Baserock, Wilson 1 1/2" Class IV Baserock is well-gradedcrushed granite; the larger aggregate size provides additional stability. It has a higherpercentage of fines than Cls II, which makes it a little easier to grade and compact. Uses include compacted base under concrete, asphalt, and pavers. It can also beused as a driveway or pathway material, and meets Cal Trans Section 25-1 for aggregatesubbase. This material is typically gray in color.
