Keith Severson honored as Volunteer of the Year by the YMCA!

Keith Severson, the Company's director of marketing and community involvement of 28 years, has been recognized as Volunteer of the Year by the YMCA of San Benito County and Central Coast YMCA!

This well-deserved recognition highlights Keith’s dedication to serving the needs of San Benito County.

His work involves a wide range of activities and participation in numerous nonprofits, which includes weekly volunteering with the Aromas-based Neighbors Helping Neighbors, a group that gives food to people in need, and spearheading the YMCA’s annual River Run fundraiser at Graniterock’s Southside Sand and Gravel Quarry in Hollister.

He was a key player in the creation of Graniterock’s first ever Classic Auto Show held at Aromas Park in October, which generated $5,000 to benefit Aromas Community Park. He has been pivotal in the success of the Company’s Rock & Run community event held at the Wilson Quarry every October for the past 15 years to benefit Aromas School and San Juan Elementary School.
